The latest show to take over your television screens on the weekend and in fact your lives is Over The Rainbow. The BBC One show is on the hunt for the lead role of Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber's latest London based theatre production, The Wizard of Oz. Thousands of girls auditioned to be Dorothy and showed off their acting, singing and dancing skills in front of a panel and Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber himself.
The contestants were quickly whittled down to a final 10. The two contestants with the lowest public vote are put into a sing off where the Lord himself chooses his favourite, the other has to hand her shoes back in dramatic style and is then flown away on the moon singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".
